The Procredit Team
David is responsible for establishing Procredit and is a partner of Woodcocks. He has 15 years´ experience
of insolvency and debt collection work and has based the service on the four key elements that commercial clients
demand a professional expert service; a quick response; a commercial viewpoint and value for money.
David’s experience ranges from bulk debt collection work early in his career to major High Court and Court of Appeal
litigation. He has been involved in reported cases such as Malgar Ltd -v- R E Leach (Engineering) Ltd 1999 (LTL19/1199) (2000 FSR 393)
and John Norman Holt -v- Andrew Rigby, Lawrence Goldberg (Sued as Trustees of Bury Grammar School as a Charity) LTL 25/1198.
David was also appointed independent solicitor to the liquidator of two companies involved in major litigation proceedings in the
Royal Courts of Justice.
David is named as a lead partner in Legal 500's current edition for Dispute Resolution confirming the expertise of the department. He also plays an active role in the local community being a Governor of Bury College and a non-executive director of the local GP led Health Centre.

Andrew’s experience of acting for insolvency practitioners covers all issues of asset protection and realisation
involving negotiation, acquisition and sale. He has taken numerous appointments from insolvency practitioners and
has substantial connections with individuals and companies interested in the acquisition of land and other assets.
In addition, Andrew’s reputation as a leading regional lawyer in the field of residential development means that he
regularly advises developers in connection with site acquisition and assembly, infrastructure and planning agreements,
and plot sales.

Partner and Head of the Employment Law, Michael Shroot joined Woodcocks in 2003, having trained in a niche commercial law firm in London. He is an expert in employment law and all types of commercial dispute resolution, including complex and high value disputes, as well as advising the Pro-credit division of Woodcocks in respect of employment related advice for insolvent companies.
Michael also boasts a wealth of experience advising all sizes of businesses from PLC's to sole traders, directors and other high level employees.
Michael has a Masters degree in Employment Law, which he gained in 2009 whilst working at the firm and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
Michael also leads regular seminars and training sessions which highlight the latest developments in the fast changing employment law scene.
